Someone brought this piece of news to my attention. How unfortunate. Freely Business School is where I received my education in Options Trading. I attended the seminar, that was conducted by Dr Clemen Chiang himself, not the coaching sessions though. I found it way too steep at that point of time. What’s more, I am still some way off trying to cover for my seminar fees.
How was the seminar? Above average, I would say, especially for a person like me who have not dabbed in stocks or any other investment instruments previously other than unit trusts. The seminar helped me to get into swing by providing the basics of options trading, setting up the trading “platform” (online brokerage signup and trading tools) and also allow me to be acquainted with like-minded trader wannabes. Dr Clemen Chiang is really a very outstanding motivator, marketeer and presenter. I picked up some presentation and marketing techniques from him as well =)
Would I recommend the seminar? No. Options Trading is not as simple as what was brought across in the seminar. Certainly not something that can be picked up in a 5-day seminar. The Freely strategies may not be suitable for everyone. As a matter of fact, there is not a trading strategy that suits everyone. All successful traders that I know have evolved their own strategies. Furthermore, you need more than one strategy to full capitalise on the market to achieve consistent profits (income). Why wouldn’t I recommend the Freely seminar then? At the point of time when I signed up for the seminar, there was more than 14 such seminars around teaching Options Trading. Which is the best? I don’t know. But I believe there is no such thing as the best.
Actually the title of this post came about as a result of the many unhappy happenings in the course my job (as well as my wife’s) in the last few weeks. Both my wife and I have learnt to put a stop to all the procrastination. We have managed to evolve those feelings to our motivation to be successful in trading. In order to be free from shitty appraisal schemes, strange colleagues, biased superiors, I MUST SUCCEED!

Hi. I attended an options trading course with Mirriam MacWilliams in Malaysia. If you allow, let’s share some insights into this in private email.
