There are really plenty of options trading learning material on the internet. However, I find many of them quite lengthy in description. This is inevitable because Options ARE complex =P My this series of “Really Options Trading Basics” attempts to summarize some of the points. To give people a “one look will remember” experience. And for those who just want to have a feel of what is it…
What I will be discussing is based on Options Trading in the US stock market (Have we discussed why the US stock market? If not, let’s do it in a separate track ^^). Anyway, the US stock market is the only one which I have been dabbling in for the last year or so.
For me, I got my very first exposure to Options Trading from CBOE’s Learning Center online. Then I attended the Freely Seminar. I have also participated in the 1st Asia Options Trading Championships. From then, my Options education mainly is from books and the internet. In particular, Investopedia is a site which I frequeny for quick explanations and concepts. It also has a huge repository of articles related to different areas of investment and trading. Here is one such article that may be of interest.
So stay tuned for the “Really Options Trading Basics” ^^
