Now that we have opened a trade, now we’ve got to know how to close it.
- Under the virtual trading platform, click “Positions” to see the list of open trades that I have currently
- I only have 1 trade opened here. Click on “Trade” link for the trade I want to close
- The relevant details will be populated for me in the form below. I just have to click the “Preview Order” button. Notice that I “Buy to Open” a GOOG 530 Call contract and now I have to “Sell to Close“
- Click the “Place Order” button to proceed. Notice that I have made a loss of $0.60 on the contract
