So many news articles, so many tutorial articles, so much trading knowledge online.
Sometimes instead of bookmarking the entire website, I just want to record a specific section of text or picture. I find that Google Notebook is the best tool for this job!
Whenever I come across information that I want to note down, I highlight the information (can include text and pictures) that I wish to capture. I then do a right-click and click on “Note this (Google Notebook)”.
This is all it takes to save the highlighted text and picture to Google Notebook! See right-hand bottom corner for the saved contents in the picture below:
And this information will be saved to my Google Notebook for future reference. As this is stored online, I can access this information anywhere, anytime.
Cool isn’t it? Really helps me to jot down the key ideas fast for future reference.
To set it up, firstly, you will need a Google account. Sign in at Google Notebook and follow the instructions there to set up the Google Notebook extension for your browser. Currently, the extension is only available for Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 1.5 and above (Windows and Linux versions). Give it a try!
