I have failed miserably these few weeks with my paper trading attempts. Some trading systems just cannot work in such high implied volatility environment. Well, learnt something new again.
So there is no such thing as THE trading system. The market is too dynamic for such a trading system to exist. Moving on to evaluate another system.
Spent the last few weeks scouting for stocks in the Singapore stock market. Well, even some CEOs had taken advantage of the market correction to make a neat profit. Corrections are deemed as a good opportunity to find bargain stocks. And I found myself scouring through annual reports and tabulating the dollars and ratios. Tough job. We need Google Finance to help tabulate the data like how they do it for US stocks! And could someone enlighten on some examples of strong value stocks in Singapore? Or do they exist in the first place? Also, I am not too sure whether this dearth of news related to Singapore stocks is good news or bad news. We need more transparency and coverage here.
Anyway, I have decided to put the Singapore market aside for the moment. Too much work to juggle between the US stock market and the Singapore stock market, especially when I am doing it part-time now. But we have entered some positions nevertheless. They are still bargain stocks, we feel
