A liar, a cheat and downright unprofessional; knowing that it is a falsified degree and continuing to use the PhD sign says a lot about the person’s character.

I actually attended his course and did not find the materials very useful at all; most of the things I already knew. The most powerful strategy on earth? Kiss my ass! $4,000 for that crap!

anyone reading this please do not sign on for his seminar like i did foolishly!

trading is a long term game and aiming for huge profits on earnings is just far too subjective to each individual.

It’s all boil down to greed. He is a young man and wants to make it fast and would resolved to using back doors even knowing that he would suffer the consequences later.

In this case he think that he can get away with the law but he can’t get away with his conscience especially when he uses the love of god and his love to his family and mankind to entice people in to his course. Maybe he can confess his sins in the later part of his life being a christian.

He is a man of no ethics, total dishonesty and truly unprofessional. A disgrace to the industry, the country, his family and his religion. God may forgive him but not his students. They are planing to file a lawsuit against him.

I CONGRATULATE ST FOR EXPOSING CLEMEN CHIANG AS A FRAUD. HE OPENLY USES HIS PHD/DOCTORAL QUALIFICATION TO BOOST HIS CREDENTIALS AND RECRUIT STUDENTS FOR HIS COURSES.

NOW THAT HIS PHD IS PROVEN TO BE FAKE, HE SHOULD OPENLY APOLOGISE TO THE PUBLIC AND THE VARIOUS MEDIA (CNA, BT, CNBC ETC….) THAT HE HAD MANUPILATED TO GIVE HIM THE PUBLICITY AS STATED IN HIS WEBSITE AT [url]WWW.FREELY.COM

HE HAS NO SHAME WHEN OPENLY ADMITTED THAT HE GOT HIS PHD IN 16 MONTHS. THIS IS UNPRECENTED AND NO REPUTABLE UNIVERSITY WOULD AWARD SUCH AS DOCTORAL QUALIFICATION. HE SHOULD GET HIS DOCTORAL SUPERVISOR WHO IS PRESUMABLY AN EXPERT IN OPTIONS TRADING TO OPENLY TESTITY TO HIS THESIS.

THE PROPOSED CLASS ACTION SUIT IS TIMELY AND IT IS TIME THE STUDENTS (PAST AND PRESENT) TAKE HIM TO TASK. HE HAS CHEATED MANY STUDENTS TO THE EXTEND HE COULD AFFORD HIS BUNGALOWS AT SENTOSA COVE AND ELSEWHERE AND MANY CARS HE OWNED.

SPEAK UP FELLOW STUDENT. THE TIME IS NOW….

The response from Dr Juergen Rudolph, the Managing Director of Centre of Professional Studies (CPS) is pathetic. BTW, is “Dr” Juergen’s qualification from Preston University as well???

The Centre of Professional Studies Pte Ltd is owned by ERC Holdings. Perhaps the Group CEO, Andy Ong could comment how could a “reputable” organisation such as ERC (www.erc.com.sg) which boast Advisory Board members such as Kenny Yap and Douglas Foo, could represent Preston University which has been exposed by ST as a degree mill.

Dr Juergen saying that CPS no longer represents Preston University is nonsense. Check out Preston University’s latest catalog at http://www.preston.edu and you will find “Asian Centre of Professional Excellence” (now known as ERC Institute) (www.erci.edu.sg) being listed along with the graduation photograph.

Perhaps ST should feature a story on CPS and ERC and their role on misleading the public over the years in recruiting the MBA and PhD/DBA students.

MOE should investigate this matter and the relevant authority should revoke ACPE/ERC SQC for PEO status.

Let’s hear from MOE and ST Editor…..

i heard Preston U is taking action against ST for misrepresentation. they claimed that non-accredited means they are not allowed to use government funds but their degrees are still legal.

well if there is interest… let’s just compile some names at
http://www.petitiononline.com/SGFR001 =)

Class action suit is probably a far fetch idea at the moment but our suggestion has been the following:

1) Submit complaint to CASE for failure of contract / misrepresentation / Tort of Deception.

2) Write email to Front Line producer (wailin@mediacorp.com.sg) & Sandra Davie (sandra@sph.com.sg) to see if they will initiate some current affair write up further to the degree mill issue, especially on Clemen Chiang.

welll… just like every cheat, they will try to scare people off with legal action… I am sure ST is more than legally aware. Anyway… there was a forum once said that Clemen had conducted a talk as part of some Investment Society in the local universities. The society had apologized at the end for the lack of relevance and quality and said that they would “review” future materials. So Clemen’s PhD cannot even hold up against a bunch of undergraduates?

About ERC, I did have a brush with it, and it was a pretty disgusting experience. I think somebody actually dug out the old story at my blog.

All I can disclosed is that due to certain backgrounds, the government is aware of the details for my case.

You may like to refer to its ads (part of the sales docs, of which misrepresentations are highly possible) of several ‘courses’ relevant to the conduct of the company, and check with CASE for known records, and also (most importantly) the previous people who have attended the seminars and the classes.

This is, however, possibly not a simple case due to the background.

Notice the management and the agency award it has?

I have to trust that the government knows how to handle ERC and compensate those affected.

Maybe you should consult the government on your cases as well. I sincerely thank ST for their concerns on the issues in private education sector.

Scope.

In the Straits Times ( Mar 13, 2009) it seems Mr Chiang has met his comeuppance with 40+ people succeeding in suing him for partial refunds of their course fees because of his unearned doctorate - ie civil misrepresentation

I wonder if anyone are REAL ethical person. How many of you are speaking the truth from your heart…as if you are one of the victim here. Have you never told a lie???

What is a big deal of a doctorate? Can a person be judged by merely a doctrate or degree? Even if a person does carry an credited doctrate, does it means he is ethical?

Clemen may made a big mistake to use it as a tool in paving his business but I believed that he has also put in his effort to study and learn on options. Like it or not, there are still many successful testimonials that people learned from his technique and make money! Doesn’t he deserve a credit here? Will you give him a thumb up for the good thing that he did?

Don’t throw mud to people when they are in the mud pool because you don’t know when is your turn to fall into it. And you don’t wish people throw you mud when you are in there.

70% of those who paid more than 10k to “trade live” at a bali retreat with clemen chiang for 3 days loss money as claimed by one of the participants. i believe this is proof enough of his nonsense method.

his is not a white lie, his is a lie where people embarked on a journey that loss them heaps of money and wasted years of their time because they thought they were not getting the results due to some rule they were not following. there is a guy who has even gone bankrupt because of this. white lie? to lie and result in harm to others is a whole other ball game my fren.

Please report on Preston University linked talents in Private Education Industry, it is not a good sign for Singapore as education hub.

1. Dr Juergen Rudolph was associated with
Centre for Professional Studies (now no more which offered Preston University)
now with ERC Institute
(CaseTrust approved http://www.erci.edu.sg/casetrust.html so risk to student is covered quite a bit)
f.k.a Asian Centre for Professional Excellence
f.k.a ….
No indication that his “Dr” is from Preston University
BUT AT LEAST THIS IS CASE TRUST APPROVED

2. Dr Maneesh Tripathi
CEO, GIIS Global Indian International School (GIIS)
CEO, Global Indian Foundation
Ph.D. Humanistic Science Preston University
IT IS NOT CASE TRUST APPROVED
f.k.a. Bhavans Global Indian International School (BGIIS)
f.k.a. ….. a few names
